I have written before about why I don't want to support big box stores like Wal-mart by giving them my money. In a capitalist culture we vote with our pocketbooks, and I want to vote for less stuff, locally-made at a fair wage. But this reminds me of how little our pocketbooks are sometimes.
The fact that there are a growing number of people with smaller pocketbooks than mine who are desperately seeking any job is a tragedy. To prey on them is criminal.
Take a few minutes to listen.
